Offset Driveshaft

The position of the engine powerhead is forward, thus moving the center of gravity of the Outboard forward.

2-Stage Gear Reduction

This system incorporates the OFFSET DRIVESHAFT feature as the first reduction stage between the crankshaft and the drive shaft, and the second reduction stage in the gear case. This design allows for a larger gear ratio, and is capable of rotating large diameter propellers.

VVT (Variable Valve Timing)

Variable Valve Timing is used to control the opening and closing times of the intake valves depending on the operation of the engine.

Direct Air Intake

Designing a direct airflow path from the intake port to the cylinder suppresses any increase in intake temperature and increases combustion efficiency.

Self Adjusting Timing Chain

The timing chain moves in an oil reservoir so it never needs relubrication, and is equipped with an automatic hydraulic tensioner so that it provides precise adjustments every time.

Two-Way Water Inlet

The engine cooling system relies on water being supplied via a low water line located in the lower unit, featuring two water lines where normally there is only one.

Suzuki Dual Louver System

The new DF325A / DF350A are equipped with double dog paw-shaped loudspeakers, air intake to completely remove water from the air fed into the hood.

Lean Burn

The Lean Burn Control System provides the right intake of the fuel and air mixture according to navigation conditions.

Dual Injector

The Dual Injectors deliver the right amount of fuel at the right time to each cylinder.

Suzuki Dual Prop System

The Suzuki Dual Prop System both rotates in opposite directions on one engine.

Suzuki Precision Control

Operated from a remote control leading to the outboard via electronic signals and does not use traditional mechanical cables.

Quiet Operation

The intake noise is suppressed with a resonator, which makes the outboard noise quieter.

Tilt Limit System

A tilt limit system that prevents the Outboard from tilting past a specified angle.
